Baptism
Baptism is a very important occasion, both for ourselves and others. We have a very attractive preparatory programme to receive this Sacrament. In order to prepare for the Sacrament you can arrange a meeting with Fr. Jim; fix a date and then gain information concerning the great work that you are undertaking.
Confession
Confession is a place where we unload our guilt and regrets. Confession has been positively approved throughout the history of the church by all generations. We have found it a place where people can find a great sense of new growth, freedom from guilt and strength to begin again.
First Communion
First Holy Communion will not be taking place unfortunately, until around September or early into October and in this context, after discussion with parents, school, parish catechetical team if anyone has any opinions please share them with school teachers, parish team or myself. This way we will come to a consensus on dates and time.
Confirmation
We had a great day of celebration for Confirmation on the 4th February 2020. The young people, the supporting Liturgy, the Bishop, parents, parish and weather combined together to make a most fantastic and memorable occasion. The young people this year studied a new European Catechism called YouCat, short for Youth Catechism. This was a great addition for preparation and will continue when we are through this national crisis of Coronavirus.
Anointing
Anointing the sick - new strength and hope are received.
Marriage
Marriage is a very important occasion. Our Parish pays great attention to the Sacrament of marriage. We will facilitate you in every way to understand more deeply the Sacrament you are undertaking and to facilitate you, your family and friends on the big day of your celebration.
