No matter what the conditions through our History we have always risen above them with faith, hope and belief in better days to come. President Kennedy said when he visited this country that his Irish great grandfather left these shores with a great desire for liberty and deep faith. Our Video today shows us a man whose life was enriched by a God who didn’t live up in the Sky, but walked with him in his daily life making it a joy and not a burden. This is what this week is all about. See for yourself.
Because of the Coronavirus the obligation for going to confession this Easter has been suspended by Pope Frances. This means that by making a sincere Act of Sorrow privately, we can proceed to make our Easter duties and then, when the present restrictions are lifted we can include our sins in our next confession. However if there is an immediate need by anybody for individual confession, or just a listening ear to talk about any other concerns, I will be available in Crossabeg Church from 6.30 pm on Monday evening the 6th of April until 7.30 pm, and in Ballymurn Church on Tuesday the 7th of April from 6.30 pm until 7.30 pm. Instruction from Government, HSE and Church will be in place and posted in the Churches.
