The death has occurred of Very Rev Noel Canon Hartley, Pastor Emeritus of Kilmuckridge and former Administrator of Wexford Parish, He served our parish from 1971-1979 becoming Adm in 1977 for two years. Born in 1930, he Studied in St Peter’s College where he was ordained on 17th April 1955. Canon Hartley retired in 2000 and was a very familiar face around Wexford town as he lived in our parish until he moved to Knockeen Nuring home some three years ago. He was often seen on the Main Street and he would stop and talk with many people. He was a great help with his willingness to assist at reconciliation ceremonies and celebrate masses when he was needed.

His funeral Mass will take place on Sunday at 11am in Kilmuckridge church. In accordance with the current Government guidelines, a strictly private family funeral will take place on Sunday 3rd Jan. 2021 at 11am. For those unable to attend the funeral mass will be available to view by logging onto
