Today we celebrate the Anniversary of the Ordination of Padre Pio to the priesthood.

On the 10th of August 1910, at the age of 23 years, Archbishop Paolo Schinosi ordained Padre Pio in the Cathedral of Benevento. Four days later, he offered his first Mass at the Parish Church of Our Lady of the Angels in Pietrelcina.
